3 nights on Safari at the fabulous Hwange Bush Camp

Day 1

Arrival time 2 pm.

Afternoon game drive

Evening welcoming sundowners followed by A braai masterclass by The Safari Butler.

The group will then team up according to numbers and then have a braai cook-off competition followed by a braai harvest table.

Braai- meaning ‘grill over an open fire’.. The concept of the Braai cook off will be judged on African infusion, presentation and taste..

Day 3 The Big Camp Cook-Off

Early morning game drive followed by a brunch in the bush cooked by the Safari Butler.

Back to camp.

Lunch at the camp prepared by the camp.

The Big camp cook off will start from 4pm

With Menu planning and preparing. The evening Theme will be African Infusion

5 30 pm fires to be lit

Sundowners and official start of the Big Camp Cook off starts at 6.00pm

2 hours to cook. Then the judges will do their thing and judge the food on

• Presentation

• African authenticity

• Taste

The winners will be announced then a harvest table will follow and all food cooked by competitors will be enjoyed. An awards ceremony hosted by The Safari Butler will complete the evening with all the points tallied up over the 3 days.

• Day 4

Breakfast and then transfer back to Vic Falls..

Day 2

Early morning game walk with Hwange Bush Camp’s finest guides.

Followed by a morning breakfast masterclass by The Safari Butler in a remote area of the park

The teams will then prepare and cook to their own interpretation of the breakfast masterclass. The judges will judge on presentation and taste.

A full Breakfast harvest table will follow and then a drive back to camp.

Lunch prepared by the camp followed by own time.

3 pm.. An Italian afternoon of learning the art of fresh pasta-making bush style and making and proving your pizza dough. Build a pizza oven with bits and pieces.

Game drive followed by sundowners.

Then back to camp for an evening of Italian cooking.

The Laid back lifestyle of an Italian evening will culminate in a Best pizza and pasta dish award.
