Meet Dean Dewdney

Foodie, Father, Founder!

After years of playing Professional Rugby based in the United Kingdom, Dean came back to his native country Zimbabwe with two things in mind.

Food and Travel.

Having spent years working on a model to combine these two passions, Dean came up with the concept of the Safari Butler. As well as all the extras he has to offer to create a stress-free, fun and easy adventure; fire-cooking in the African bush has become his trade mark and he has created extraordinary memories for many of his clients. The Safari Butler is designed to go the extra mile and combine all these elements to create an exciting, life changing and passionate driven story with energy and professionalism that will surpass all expectations.

After many years in the sports world and interacting in the corporate world through sponsors, sports fans and the general public, Dean has honed a number of skills that relate to the world of travel. He is an energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing character who loves to be around people, believing meeting and greeting people is a great and exciting part of life, a trait that lends itself perfectly to being a Safari Butler.
